Outdoor swimming providers PTP Coaching have postponed swimming at Birchmere Park. This is because the level of blue green algae in the water is high this week. The algae has bloomed because of the recent weather conditions. We expect the level to reduce naturally over the weeks ahead. PTP will continue to test water at the lake and will let us know once it’s suitable for swimming sessions to start again. Please check our What’s On page for further updates. ‘
