Come and join us for a swim on the 23rd July and 13th August in Birchmere Lake this summer!
PTP Coaching have teamed up with Peabody to bring you a fantastic community event, giving you the opportunity to have a swim in Birchmere Lake under the watchful eye of our lifeguards.
In order to be able to Swim in the lake for free you will need to be able to adhere to the following;
All swimmers must be aged 8 or over.
Everyone must wear a tow-float while swimming.
You must be an experienced swimmer and able to swim 25m confidently.
No persons under 8 years old are permitted to swim.

A Wetsuit is optional at this time of year as the water will be around 20degrees. Old trainers or water shoes are highly advised to protect your feet as you walk in and out of the lake area.
Tow floats will be available for your use if needed.
The course is a 500meter course. You may be able to stand up in some places. We will have our lifeguards around to help you if needed.

Swimming session times are one hour long and are at:
0900 - 1000 1230 - 1330
1010 - 1110 1340 - 1440
1120 - 1220 1450 - 1550
Each Swimming session is 1hour long.
Numbers are limited for safety, please book early to avoid disappointment.
If you become unable to make your time, please let us know at the earliest opportunity so we can make it available again.
Swimming will take place in a designated area on Birchmere Lake and at present is not permitted outside of Peabody’s planned events.
