Open Water Swim

Service Description

Available for those aged 8+ (Under 16's must be supervised by a participating adult). Not available for under 8s. Swimming Everyone must wear a tow-float while swimming (we can provide at no extra cost) You must be an experienced swimmer and able to swim 25m confidently Your swimming time slot includes changing time. When we are not fully booked we can be flexible however if your swim is on the last session of the day, the team need to lock up. General Appropriate clothing must be worn whether around or in the lake. (No naturism) Respect our Staff and do not put them at unnecessary risk. Do not distract the Life-Guards unless you are alerting them to an emergency. Be alert to the signs of cold-water Shock. The lake can be deceptively cold. Under 14’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Know your limits. Do not put yourself or our staff at risk by doing too much. Please follow the one-way system. Please follow all staff instructions, they are their to keep you safe. No Spectators. No Dogs. Duck mites/Swimmers itch - Can be prevelent in Warm water. Please see our FAQ for pre, during and post advice to help. Information for 8-15 year olds Those Aged 8-11 must complete a competency test consisting of; 25m swim on front, 25m swim on back, star float front and back (held for 3-5 seconds). Those Aged 12-14 must complete a competency test consisting of; 50m swim (any stroke)and star float on back (held for 3-5 seconds). No persons under 8 years old are permitted to swim. One adult can supervise TWO aged 8-11 in the water. One adult can supervise up to five Aged 12- 14 (Adult can be on the bank). Those aged 15+ can book a swim on their own. Prepay subscriptions does not adjust cost if purchasing cheaper tickets.

Cancellation Policy

1. You can Reschedule your session via the following means, Online members area, Email or social media. If you would like to cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours Prior to your booked session start time you will be able to cancel or reschedule your session via social media or email. Once processed you will be able to request a new session at a later date up to the same value as the cancelled session. We request extra time to give us a chance through busy periods to process your request. For more Control you can move a session yourself Up to 24 hours prior to your booked session start time you will be able to reschedule your session using the online members area on our website without a penalty. you can also cancel a session this way and if the cancellation is more then 48hours in advance, please contact us for a refund or a rebook and we can process it. 2. Less than 48 hours prior to your booked session start time you may request a cancellation or reschedule to your session via email, or social media. You MAY be issued with a credit that can be used against any future PTP Coaching booking. Refunds will not be issued except in extenuating circumstances. Decisions on the issue of a credit or refund in these circumstances are solely at the discretion of the PTP Coaching LTD Management. Refunds will only be given on request.
