About the Course
This course is aimed at those wishing to paddle in a sheltered and moderate inland open water conditions. We aim to provide you with the necessary tools to be able to troubleshoot common paddling issues when in these environments so you can have confidence when paddling out.
This course lasts 6 hours and covers the following 7 modules:
Safety Frameworks
Clothing and Equipment
Providing assistance
Self-Rescues
Deep Water Rescues
Reflection and skills check lists.

Prerequisites
We ask that you are able to paddle to a discovery or higher standard
Minimum age: 12
What to bring
Refillable drinks bottle, lunch and snacks
Warm clothing
Waterproofs or dry suit
Water shoes or Trainers that can get wet
Towel
Spare change of clothes
Additional warm layers (hat, gloves ect)
