We are a small family run business that aims to provide safe access to the water to those who would otherwise not have access to these activities.

We do this by running the projects listed on this page.

As a family run business we have very limited access to funding for community projects. so for the past 5 years we have predominantly self-funded these projects, however we need your help to keep them going. so whether its big or its small, every little helps.
Lewisham Volunteers - Free Swimming
This project was founded as a way to give back to all the wonderful volunteers in Lewisham. For not only giving up their spare time to help people, communities and nature but as a way to help them get something back from it all.

This projects allows verified Lewisham residents, who volunteer in borough 2 free swims a week. Their passes are revalidated every 6 months by the lovely office team.

We currently have around 40 volunteers on passes costing approximately £25,792 per year.
Youth Development Scheme
A project to help those 14-21 years of age gain work experience and eventually qualifications. The scheme is something of Toms baby as he has developed the scheme over his waterspouts career spanning 3 decades.

The aim is those aged 14-21, come and volunteer at the lake in exchange we fully fund their training to become fully qualified Lifeguards and Paddlesport instructors. Once they have graduated the scheme they are then offered the opportunity to join the team as a staff member.

Each candidate receives £1200 of funding, we have currently had 4 candidates successfully graduate the scheme. Our Current YDS team has 8 Candidates with more applying for the 2025 intake.

Can you help these young people gain valuable work experience and become productive members of their community?
Beckenham Place Park Lake
This is our on-going project, alongside Lewisham Council.

We joined this project with the aim of providing safe and fun access to the water for the community. 5 years later we are still here and have successfully tendered for another 5 years. As part of that 5 year tender, we are looking to develop the lakes facilities such as storage, changing rooms and outdoor natural shower.

Whilst many avid lake users will attest that these are much needed, they will also know that everything costs something nowadays. We want to ensure that we can keep our prices affordable for everyone, so we are reaching to the wider community that if we all put in together, then together we can build more accessible facilities for all!

If 10,000 people donate £1, you would have £10,000. The population of lewisham is approximately 303,500 people, even if half of those donate there would be just over £150,000. so it doesn't have to be a lot to achieve so much more.
