Birchmere Lake Swim 23rd July 9am

Peabody and PTP Coaching are providing two events this summer to allow Swimming in Birchmere Lake. Swimming will take place in a designated area on Birchmere Lake and at present is not permitted outside of Peabody’s planned events.

Come and join us on the 23rd July 2022 or the 13th August 2022

Ticket times are at 0900 - 1000

                                       1010 - 1110

                                       1120 - 1220

                                       1230 - 1240

                                       1350 - 1450

Your ticket will allow you up to 1 hour in the lake between the times stated.  You may arrive up to 15 minutes before the start time.

Clothing:

A Wetsuit is optional at this time of year as the water will be around 20degrees. Old trainers or water shoes are highly advised to protect your feet as you walk in and out of the lake area.

Tow Floats will be availiable for use.

The Course

The course is a 500meter course. You may be able to stand up in some places. We will have our lifeguards around to help you if needed. 

Ability

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

All swimmers must be aged 8 or over.

Everyone must wear a tow-float while swimming.

You must be an experienced swimmer and able to swim 25m confidently.

No persons under 8 years old are permitted to swim.
