Update on the future of
PTP Coaching
We’re excited to share some important updates about how PTP operates, how you book with us, and how our organisation is structured moving forward.
These changes are designed to make booking easier, improve safety and governance, and support the long-term future of PTP and the communities we work with.
A New Booking & Safety System
We are rolling out Sport Guardian as our new booking and safety management system across all PTP activity sites.

This means:
-
A smoother, more reliable booking experience
-
Clearer session information and availability
-
Improved safety checks and operational oversight
-
Better communication before and after your session
Sport Guardian has a booking app that makes booking and managing sessions simpler and more straightforward than before.

All existing bookings will continue to be honoured, and support will be available during the transition.
A New Website: ptp.org.uk
Our new website, ptp.org.uk, is now the main home for all PTP activity delivery, including:
-
Open water swimming
-
Paddle sports
-
Events
-
Community and wellbeing sessions
The site brings everything together in one place, with clearer information, easier booking through Sport Guardian, and improved accessibility.

An Update on Our Structure
As PTP has grown, so has the need for a clearer and more resilient structure behind the scenes.
-
PTP Coaching Limited
Delivers all coaching, activities, and on-water operations. -
PTP.org.uk
Is the public-facing platform where customers find information and book sessions. -
PTP Collective
Provides group-level governance, shared standards, and long-term strategic support.
Alongside activity delivery, the wider PTP family also includes:
-
Embrace Outdoors Equipment – supporting our work through quality outdoor and watersports equipment
-
Naughty Buoys Clothing – our community-inspired apparel brand
Each part has a clear role, working together under shared values and standards.

What This Means for You
-
Booking is clearer and more reliable
-
Communication is improved
-
Safety systems are stronger
-
PTP is better set up for the future
Importantly, nothing changes about the experience on the water — the same people, the same values, and the same commitment to safety, inclusion, and community.
Thank you for being part of the PTP community.
