About the Course
This is a 2 day course designed to develop your personal and decision making skills, a great addition to those wanting to work towards their Coach Award (Canoe/Kayak) or those wishing to participate in club trips as an effective member of the group.
We will take you through the necessary skills to be able to have fun and be safe whilst canoeing whether this is recreational or for work purposes.
This is done by looking at your knowledge, skills and future development. The is no formal assessments as they are holistic and done throughout the course.

Prerequisites
We ask that you are able to paddle to a discovery or higher standard
Minimum age: 16
What to bring
Refillable drinks bottle,
lunch and snacks
Warm clothing
Waterproofs or dry suit
Water shoes or Trainers that can get wet
Towel
Spare change of clothes
Additional warm layers (hat, gloves ect)
